Washing works but drying does not
Keep the washing result and drying result separate in your description. Say whether the drying phase begins, whether the clothes become warm and how the programme finishes. Include the selected combined cycle and approximate load. The drying arrangement belongs to the exact washer-dryer model; it should not be inferred from a separate dryer.
Clothes are warm but remain wet
Tell us the programme used and how much of the washed load was left for drying. Check the model manual for its washing and drying limits, which may differ. Describe whether dampness is new and whether the machine reports a normal finish. Warm laundry alone does not confirm that the drying system is working correctly.
Drying never starts after washing
Record the last stage that completed successfully before drying was expected. Mention water still visible, an unfinished spin or a warning on the display. Do not force a transition by repeated restarts. A drying phase that never begins may depend on an earlier interruption, so the sequence matters more than a suspected part.
Drying takes much longer
Explain whether the longer drying time developed gradually or appeared suddenly. Include the type of load, selected setting and whether the displayed time keeps changing. Follow only maintenance listed for users in the manual. If overheating or a scorched smell accompanies the delay, stop use rather than extending the drying run.
Keep the limits clear.
We inspect before naming the failed component. The work, visit charge and any proposed parts are discussed with you. Existing equipment only; no new gas installations or LPG conversions. Refrigeration excludes American side-by-side units, compressor replacement and sealed-system work.
